Reasonable
Whilst on the bus the other day I heard a man say to his companion "As you know, I'm always reasonable but ..." He then went on at length to expound why his point of view should be agreed with.
In my experience, when someone says "I'm reasonable", or "I'm fair" or similar adjectives it is usually because they are not reasonable or fair. Otherwise they would not need to mention this fact before making their point.
Anyway, it set me thinking. What adjectives would others use to describe me? Friendly? Caring? Generous? or what?
Try it for yourself. What adjectives best describe you - as you are perceived by other people?
The more I think about it the more I realise how difficult it is to be a Christian!
